On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, we held the SIAH Info Day and Post-Erasmus Project Summer School Info Day at Laila Resort, Anse Royale, Mahé. The session was designed primarily for S5, A-Level and former A-Level students, giving them an opportunity to learn more about our programmes and the pathways available after secondary school or A-Level studies.

Exploring opportunities at SIAH

At a time when many young people are considering their next step, the session focused on opportunities for further education, practical skills development and future careers. It introduced students to the different educational and skills-development pathways offered through SIAH, with an emphasis on options available locally.

Our development and international partnerships

The programme also provided stakeholders and partners with an update on SIAH’s development and its transition towards the National Agricultural Sciences and Innovation Institute (NASII).

Alongside the institutional overview and discussion of the transition plan, the programme highlighted our Erasmus+ activities and the opportunities created through the Post-Erasmus Summer School initiative. Time was also set aside for questions and interaction through an online questionnaire.

Highlights from the day

The Info Day gave students a closer look at local study options while keeping our partners informed about SIAH’s ongoing development.
