SIAH Lecturer Completes Fourth China TVET Programme in Ornamental Horticulture

Mr Kenneth Esparon, a lecturer at the Seychelles Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture (SIAH), was selected to take part in China’s fourth cohort of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme, held from 17 September to 14 November 2024.

During the programme, Mr Esparon received specialised training in ornamental horticulture and landscaping at the Zibo Vocational Institute, Shandong College.

The programme aimed to equip participants with the pedagogical skills needed to help the Ministry develop a comprehensive TVET curriculum, and to effectively transfer knowledge and skills to their peers back home.
