About SIAH
The Seychelles Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture — building a sustainable future through education, research, and community.
Our Story
The Seychelles Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture (SIAH) was established with a clear mission: to develop the human capital needed to drive sustainable agriculture in Seychelles and strengthen national food security.
Over the years, SIAH has grown into the nation’s leading institution for agricultural education, training, and applied research. Our graduates go on to serve in the public and private sectors, farming enterprises, government agencies, and international organisations.
Grounded in the principle of “Ploughing Harder for Success,” we continue to push boundaries — combining traditional agricultural knowledge with modern science and technology to prepare the next generation of agricultural professionals.
